Atlas of Human Seeings is a public map for recording the small human traces that shape a city: unofficial landmarks, unfair crossings, recurring encounters, feelings, shortcuts, warnings, and tender local knowledge.
It begins from the fact that cities are not only made from official streets and named places. They are also made from the things people notice, remember, avoid, love, and pass on to one another. The map holds absurdity, tenderness, boredom, annoyance, care, coincidence, friendship, bodily knowledge, strange joy, and small private rituals too.
This prototype is developing as part of a collaboration between Dominika ฤupkovรก and Laure Brisa, within City to City 2026โ2027: Future of the Living โ a cross-city residency between Koลกice and Enghien-les-Bains.
City to City is developed by the UNESCO Creative Cities of Media Arts network, with Creative Industry Koลกice and the Centre des arts dโEnghien-les-Bains. The work is still in development.
